The EyeSee campaign is an initiative that was launched to ensure that South Carolina’s new Economic Narrative is diverse and inclusive. The campaign equips minority and women entrepreneurs with access to resources, on-going training, business opportunities, and the consistent advocacy required to sustain a small, minority, or woman-owned business in today’s economic climate.
This multi-faceted initiative includes digital campaigns to market and promote participating businesses, opportunities for business owners to connect with one another and potential clients, and an avenue through which minority and women entrepreneurs can collectively advocate for economic equality and inclusion. The campaign seeks to raise awareness in order to revise or remove policies and practices that are based on race and gender that disproportionately create barriers or limit the participation of minority and women-owned businesses in city, county or state-led economic development initiatives and projects.
